Les Brucardes is one of the oldest farmhouses in Bages
county. There are records dating from 1003 which
document the surname Brocard.
In 1021, a knight by the name of Llopard made a
donation
to Sant
Benet de Bages and in his will of 1038, he left his
possessions - a suit of armour, a sword, two horses and
various property - to his son Brocard.
The farm has changed over time, with successive
extensions and renovations.
On the ground floor, you can still see the ancient
main entrance, a transition from the Gothic to the
Romanesque.
